Two-step polishing system specially developed for producing an intraoral high-lustre polish on all composite filling materials. An innovative polishing matrix with diamond particles guarantees a high lustre in minimum time and a high service life of the polisher. 1039RA & 1139RA - The highly flexible polishing lamellae adapt to any surface structure thus creating perfect polishing results, even on areas difficult to polish such as occlusal surfaces. The polishing lamellae prepare the material surface very gently, preserving the original surface structure of the restoration. Application - Use coolant, 50mL/min., when polishing to avoid heat build-up. External cooling should be used when polishing with lamellae polishers, which should be directed between the polisher and composite filling to avoid excess spray water in the direction of the handpiece and optimally cool the area being polished. This also increases the polishing efficiency, as the fine composite particles, which are removed during polishing, are rinsed off with the water. This results in a perfect high-lustre.
