TopBrush is a polishing system for use without polishing paste. Each bristle is an individual polishing instrument. Functional principle Nylon brushes with integrated polishing particles made from silicone carbide for the removal of heavy dental plaque without the use of polishing paste as well as for highlustre polishing of composites, compomers, porcelain and glass ionomer cement. One-step polishing system for pre-polishing and high-lustre polishing using only one instrument. Use without polishing paste. The special fibres contain silicone carbide (SiC) as the abrasive medium. As the bristles become worn fresh SiC is constantly exposed on the surface of the fibre. This produces consistently high polishing performance.
